What is a weighted blanket?
A weighted blanket is heavier than a standard blanket or quilt. It is filled with glass beads to add weight in the quilting. Our blankets have polyester fibers mixed in with the glass beads for extra softness. Multiple weight options are available so you can choose the weight according to your body weight.

How does a weighted blanket work?
Deep Touch Pressure (DTP) is the science behind the weighted blanket. DTP helps reduce the stress hormone cortisol, which decreases heart rate, blood pressure and muscle tension, while releasing serotonin — a neurotransmitter associated with happiness and relaxation. The weight is evenly distributed for better relaxation.

Your Weighted Blanket is also specially designed to fit perfectly into any standard duvet cover, so you can secure it inside a washable duvet cover to keep it neat and clean all the time.
Will I get hot under my Weighted Blanket?
Not necessarily. Your Weighted Blanket is heavier but not hotter than an ordinary blanket. The 100% cotton cover is designed to circulate ample airflow and maximize ventilation, which means your Weighted Blanket can help you stay cool all night long.
